HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS

Governors, Premiers, Family, Security and State/Provincial Staff

CGLSLGP staff will make hotel arrangements for individuals that are members of each Governors' or Premiers' official five person delegation using information collected from the meeting registration form. Each meeting participant will receive an email confirmation from the hotel. All other participants may book accomodations at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center under the Conference’s room block at https://aws.passkey.com/go/CGLStLawrenceGovernorsPremiers or by calling the hotel at  1-877/901-6632 and referencing “Conference of Great Lakes & St. Lawrence Governors’ and Premiers’ Leadership Summit”. Specific questions should be directed to Marie-Hélène Diodati, Conference of Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers, at mdiodati@ cglslgp.org (312/407-0177).

Meeting Sponsors and Invited Guests

Meeting sponsors and invited guests may book accommodations at the Detroit Marriott under the Conference's room block at https://aws.passkey.com/go/CGLStLawrenceGovernorsPremiers or by calling the hotel at  1-877/901-6632 and referencing “Conference of Great Lakes & St. Lawrence Governors’ and Premiers’ Leadership Summit”. The room rate is approx. $122 a night. TRANSPORTATION

Air service to Detroit arrives and departs from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW).  Detailed directions, parking and transport information to the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center is available at: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/maps/travel/dtwdt-detroit-marriott-at-the-renaissance-center/

For those traveling by car, the Detroit-Windsor tunnel will be closed from 8:00 p.m. on October 20 through 5:30 a.m. on October 30.  If you intend to cross the border during this time, please choose an alternate route.


ATTIRE

Typical weather for Detroit and Windsor during this time of year will be in the mid to upper 50’s.  Throughout the Summit, attendees should be dressed in business attire.  However, attendees should wear casual attire for the October 22 bus tour of Detroit.
