GLRC Summit II: December 12, 2005 | Chicago, Illinois

The final Great Lakes Regional Collaboration Strategy to Restore and Protect the Great Lakes was released on December 12, 2005 at the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois. The Strategy was the result of a year-long process involving 1,500 participants representing the entire spectrum of interested stakeholders within and outside government.

Representatives of the GLRC also took the opportunity to sign a Great Lakes Regional Collaboration Resolution (PDF, 138Kb) pledging their continued support for the Great Lakes Collaboration effort and actions to restore and protect the Great Lakes.
